Certified Executive Coach, Business Owner and Sailor

Hello!

I’m Bill Coletti, a certified executive coach, crisis communications and reputation defense expert, keynote speaker, Wall Street Journal Risk & Compliance panelist, and the best-selling author of Critical Moments: The New Mindset of Reputation Management.

With over 25 years of global experience, I have successfully managed high-stakes crises, issues management, and media relations challenges for renowned clients including Amex, AT&T, College Board, Essilor, American Airlines, Valencia College, Cargill, and numerous US and international political campaigns.

Prior to founding my firm, Kith.co, in 2013, I co-led the Global Risk Management and Crisis Communications Practice for Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Additionally, I had the privilege of overseeing offices in both Los Angeles and Florida.

At Kith, our mission is to provide tailored crisis solutions with an unwavering commitment that only a boutique agency can deliver. However, these days, my focus has shifted.

Having entrusted the capable hands of our President, Stephanie Craig, to lead Kith, I have taken a step back to concentrate on what truly matters to me. Teaching people to sail, serving the communities alongside my wife, Debbie, and assisting fellow business owners in making the significant leap into the next phase of their personal and professional lives.

In addition to being a Certified Executive Coach by the Center for Executive Coaching and member of the International Coaching Federation, I hold the esteemed titles of US Coast Guard 50 Ton Master Captain and NauticEd Sailing Instructor. These diverse passions allow me to bring a unique perspective and depth of experience to my coaching practice.

Whether you’re seeking guidance during critical moments, refining your leadership skills, or navigating the challenges of reputation management, I am here to support and empower you on your journey. Let’s embark on a transformative partnership together.

Creative firm owners seek me out when they want to sharpen their leadership today in order to discover new professional and personal opportunities tomorrow.

As an owner who has built and transitioned from my own firm, I understand the pivotal shifts that business owners must navigate at some point in their journey:

  1. Moving from being a smart problem solver to becoming an entrepreneurial leader.
  2. Transitioning from being a successful leader to finding significance in the next chapter of life.

Both of these transitions require more than simply hiring employees or delegating tasks to a trusted deputy.

There are specific changes that you need to make as an individual. While you may be confident in your skills and domain expertise, have you considered the impact of your mindset and behaviors on your leadership and future planning?

Moreover, your team also needs to undergo changes, and it will be your responsibility to guide them through this process. They need to shift from a mindset of serving and responding to one of leading and challenging. This includes leading and challenging themselves, your clients, and at times, even challenging you.

All these changes, both within yourself and your team, necessitate a shift in mindset and behaviors. You must sharpen your leadership abilities in order to uncover the abundant opportunities that still lie ahead.

By doing so, you will gain the clarity needed to make sound decisions and establish the trust required to make a significant impact.

I firmly believe that we all need to continually expand our mindset and adjust our behaviors. That is precisely what I focus on as an executive coach – assisting creative firm leaders in developing the mindset and behaviors necessary to sharpen their leadership skills today, which in turn enables them to unlock new professional and personal opportunities tomorrow.

This journey also involves fostering trust within your team and placing your trust in them, empowering you to make the desired impact in the world.

If this resonates with you and your team, I would be thrilled to connect further. Let’s explore how we can embark on this transformative journey together.
